PROBLEM:

A fully loaded motorcycle with touring gear gets top heavy. Due to this its not always easy to park the motorcycle on its side stand in softer soil, gravel or sand. Most likely the stand will cave in and the bike will drop.

Also its not easy to pickup a fully loaded sports tourer and also the likely damages to the plastics, indicators or mirrors!

SOLUTION:

A side stand base which is a bolt on and an elegant solution.

This base increases the contact area of the stand.

We have tested this in the beautiful wet sands of beaches in Goa, the endless white stretches of the Raan of Kutch, freshly laid tarmac of The Golden Quadrilateral and other equally amazing surfaces in India!

INSTALLATION:

Perform this installation with the bike secured on a paddock stand or else with another person assisting to keep the bike upright
Remove the 3 bolts from the kit
Place the 3D BigPaw™ on the stand base
Insert the 3 bolts with the washers and tighten the bolts 3 turns at a time
CAUTION: Use a non-permanent thread locker to prevent loosening of the bolts. We sell one here
CAUTION: Use a wrench allen tool for proper torque to prevent loosening of the bolts. We sell a suitable toolkit here
